Refund Policy

- A free demo class or two paid trial classes may be offered.
- If unsatisfied after the first two classes, a refund can be requested within 5 days of those sessions.
- Refund Eligibility: A full refund is available if you’re not satisfied within the first two lessons.
- No Refund After Trial: Once more than two lessons are completed, no refund is permitted—unless exceptional circumstances apply.
- How to Request a Refund:i) Submit a formal refund request via email (Education@Steamvidya.com) within two lessons.
ii) The amount refunded = value of any unused, unallocated lessons, minus a 10% service charge + bank/payment gateway fees + Difference in currency conversion rates + Govt. Taxes + internal processing costs (if any). - Refund Processing Timeline: i) Initial eligibility review: up to 30 days.
ii) Once approved, refund is processed within 20 business days. - Lesson Disruptions & Technical Issues: If a class is cancelled due to tutor-side technical issues, unexpected delay or absenteeism, the session is not counted.
- Cancellation without Refund: If the platform subscription or access is cancelled, no refund applies.
- Transfer of Lessons: Remaining hours may be transferred only between siblings, prorated by grade and rates.
Refund requests are subject to the following:

- Refund will be processed within 20 business days after reviewing the case and internal review.
- Packages must be used within validity (see Section 3 above).
- Unused hours after the expiry date cannot be refunded or extended unless approved under special considerations.
Transfer of sessions is only allowed between siblings, with prior approval and applicable rate adjustments.
- Monthly/Recurring subscriptions can be paused or cancelled with a 7-day prior written notice.
- No refund will be issued for unused classes post-cancellation unless covered under trial/exception clauses.
- Introduction
By enrolling in our programs, accessing our platform, or using our services, you (“User”, “Student”, “Parent/Guardian”) agree to abide by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, kindly refrain from using our services.
- Services Offered
STEAMVIDYA offers online and offline tutoring across academic and co-curricular subjects, skill development classes to students aged 4–18 and beyond. Services include:
- Live one-on-one or group tutoring
- Personalized study plans and mentorship
- Offline sessions (where applicable)
- Enrollment and Payment
- All sessions must be prepaid. Classes will be scheduled only after payment confirmation.
- Plans are available in hourly session bundles.
- Per session will be for 60 mins
- Package validity:
STEAMVIDYA can customize the hourly plan as per individual customer’s need. Standard class bundle is for minimum 20 hours. However, based on individual’s learning need and request we can customize their class bundles. Once the parent buys the class bundles they have to consume the hours within given below timeline. Company will review the case and decide on case to case matter. IF there is not no valid and satisfactory reason from the parent side to put the sessions on hold, classes might lapsed. Package will be considered only when the customer pays full amount of the commitment in advance.
- Up to 20 hours: 4 months
- 21 + hours: 8 months
- Monthly plans: as per duration + 30-day grace period
- We are considering academic leaves/school holidays so we will not count those during the course validity.
- Winter Holidays 30 Days (Dec-Jan)
- Summer Holidays 60 Days (Between May to Aug-depending on the country)
- Spring Holidays 15 Days (March/April)
- All payments are final. Prices are inclusive of standard service fees unless otherwise specified.
- The flexibility of timings (only for One to One sessions) will be based on a mutual understanding between parents and company.
- Scheduling and Attendance
- Sessions must be scheduled in advance through our support.
- STEAMVIDYA send the class reminders on same day before the class. However, sometimes due to the network issues of service provider parent may not receive notification or reminder on time . OR due to technical issues it might get skipped. We request to the student to set up their own reminders for the class, unless there is no notification or update to cancel the class classes will be as per schedule only.
- Student must be present on time; delays beyond 10 minutes without any intimation may result in the session being marked as completed.
- Tutors and student may reschedule due to emergencies. Adequate notice should be provided.
- In General, for non-emergency cases, Students/Parents should provide at least 6 hours’ prior notice for rescheduling requests.
- For any assistance or enquiry parent/student need to contact STEAMVIDYA only. We don’t share the exchange the teacher and student contact information with each other.
- Class resources and learning materials should be shared or exchanged through allocated and assigned Folders or Assigned Emails (study@steamvidya.com) Only. We don’t recommend to exchange or share the learning resources by WhatsApp or any other platform.
- Tutor Allocation & Replacement
- Tutors are assigned based on subject, level, and availability.
- If a student is dissatisfied, a tutor change may be requested after a minimum of 1 session.
- Tutor replacement is subject to availability and suitability.
- Class Environment & Conduct
- Respectful behavior is expected from students and parents.
- Disruption, misuse of the platform, or abusive behavior will result in suspension or termination of services.
- Recording, copying, or distributing sessions without consent is strictly prohibited.
- Technical Requirements
- It is the user's responsibility to ensure stable internet, a working device, and basic tech readiness.
- STEAMVIDYA is not liable for session loss due to user-side technical issues.
- Intellectual Property
All study materials, content, recordings, and tools provided are proprietary to STEAMVIDYA or its licensors. Any duplication, sharing, or resale is prohibited.
- Limitation of Liability
While we strive for high-quality delivery, STEAMVIDYA is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from use of our services.
- Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes, if any, shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Jaipur, Rajasthan.
